The parrêsia in the framework of the Foucaultian work: Truth and philosophy

Abstract

Foucault’s research on the parrhesia takes perspective and clarity if it is located in the fundamental project that finally defines the whole work of the French thinker: a long search about the truth, taken in its pragmatic sense, that is, in their nexus and effects on subjects, speeches and power. Foucault would have thought the old question of philosophy, that of truth, which he addresses in a totally new way.
