This paper shows a brief perspective on the first approximations of the silence’s problem (and that is why we do not intend to establish any type of practical evidence). We address a translato-philosophical approach to solve the problem that emerges through the σύναψις (synapsis) studied by Giuseppina Grammatico in her exegesis The Synapsis Silence-Word in the Fragments of Heraclitus (1999a). Our central problem is the questioning about the translatability and the untranslatability of silence, which opens different possibilities in terms of methodologies and research. Thus, the big question of this reflection is can silence be translated? We cannot answer that for the moment, and that is why we seek a method through the philosophy of complexity, for helping us to analyze and resolve this issue.
