The article analyzes the notion of the regime of veridiction as a possible element of political analysis, focusing on Foucault's approaches in the 1979 Birth of Biopolitics lectures. In this, this notion is explained for the first time. Although the theme of veridiction has an important role in Foucault's later works, this course has special relevance because it relates the operation of veridiction with political technologies of government, such as the liberal arts of government and even their modifications in the context of neoliberalism
