The writing of the literary self and the aesthetics of the existence of the modern literary writer

Abstract

The following article follows in the footsteps of Foucault's thought, that is, part of the French philosopher's thought, but it is not limited to it, since it tries to extend it one step further. The hypothesis of this article is that it is possible to think of a properly literary writing of itself and an aesthetics of the existence of the modern literary writer. First, the writing of itself in the practice of the ancient stoic philosophers will be analyzed, to then analyze the possibility of updating the writing of itself in literature, establishing the distinctive characteristics that it possesses.
