Licenciado en Filosofía en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, en la que obtuvo la Suficiencia investigadora (2005). Ha sido investigador contratado en la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia en el marco del Proyecto de investigación “Los escritos póstumos de Nietzsche: edición crítica en castellano y estudio sistemático de los textos”. Ha colaborado en diferentes proyectos de traducción de la obra de Nietzsche. Actualmente es colaborador honorífico del Departamento de Teoría del Conocimiento, Estética y Hª del Pensamiento de la Facultad de Filosofía, y coordinador del SNC
From Nietzsche's statement that "the tragedy born of the tragic chorus, and was originally chorus and nothing but chorus" (GT, 7), we will try to show how, since the first Nietzschean conception of tragedy, this fundamental element of his thought can be characterized, beyond next differences, as an ever transient overcoming of nihilism. Thus, by analyzing the aphorisms 7 and 8 of The Birth of Tragedy, we will show how these elements appear through Nietzsche's interpretation of the tragic chorus
