Claudia Marisa Seggiaro (argentina), Doctora en Filosofía (UBA). Investigadora Adjunta del CONICET, cuya principal área de trabajo es la Filosofía Antigua. Docente de la asignatura Historia de la Filosofía Antigua (FFyL-UBA) y de Introducción al Pensamiento Científico (UBA- CBC) Autora de artículos en revistas especializadas en filosofía griega clásica, en su mayoría sobre distintos aspectos de la filosofía aristotélica.
The hypothesis that we will try to defend in this work is that in On Philosophy Aristotle makes a dialectical defense of his conception of principles, taking as a starting point some of the existing opinions on the subject. In this sense, the Aristotelian way of proceeding in this work is consistent with that implemented for the same purposes in the canonical works and contributes to understanding the epistemic use of dialectics in this thinker. To demonstrate this, we will focus on the analysis of fragment 17. For this purpose, we will divide the work into two parts: in the first, we will analyze the use of the opinions cited in relation to the topic to be discussed; in the second, we will examine the methodological resources through which Aristotle gives an account of his own conceptions.
