Hermeneutics and reality. About the reality in Gianni Vattimo.

Abstract

Gianni Vattimo has been the leading exponent of the Italian philosophical hermeneutics. Indeed, starting from a rigorous theming of the philosophies of Heidegger, Nietzsche, Pareyson and Gadamer, and making echo of the critique of metaphysics manages to raise a hermeneutical philosophy with nihilistic vocation whose thought is characterized as weak. In this context, this article aims to deal with the issue of reality and its subsequent de-realization as it is proposed by Vattimo in his book Della realtà in 2012. The aims are make philosophically the transition from ‘reality’ to reality and what it means in the current philosophical context how chance of thinking in the age of global capitalism.
